AzTechSoft provides
programs for plotting GPS
points in AutoCAD and maps from TerraServer-USA, a complete selection of
Maps, and
many other Software and resources for the Engineering, Architectural,
and AutoCAD communities.
Inlet Master is a hydraulic program that
analyzes and helps design the performance of Storm Drain
Inlets. It allows the analysis of a complete network of
inlets, and works in both English and Metric units.
Unlike programs from other major vendors, this program calculates the
INLET DESIGN.
It is an excellent design tool, but it relies
on the engineer to interpret the results. It assists the engineer with
many comments, help buttons, and messages about the answers to provide
the necessary feedback. Of course it assumes a general working knowledge
of hydrology and hydraulics on the part of the engineer; but it makes
life SO MUCH EASIER!
The
methodology used follows as closely as possible those found in the HEC-22
manual published by the Federal Highway Administration,
Nov. 1996.
It was designed and written by a Civil Engineer with many years of
experience in storm drain design, And it was written for engineers, with
the understanding that we are responsible for our design, and we are all
"control freaks" at heart. The built
in features provide that control.
